Pretty Beach House is one of Australia’s most exclusive luxury lodges situated 90 minutes drive north of Sydney on the glorious NSW Bouddi Peninsula. The lodge is set high on the escarpment above Pretty Beach and gently nestled into the Bouddi National Park.

Stay with us in your own luxurious pavilion surrounded by the beauty of mother nature. With world-class facilities, Pretty Beach House is the epitome of laidback Australian luxury.

The main house is a collection of premium facilities including an open plan kitchen, spectacular dining room, magnificent sandstone open fireplace, guest lounge/library, open bar, wine cellar, private day spa, outdoor infinity pool and poolside pizza oven for casual al-fresco dining.

The magnificent dining room incorporates authentic earthy interiors and unique bespoke soft furnishings, including handmade Busatti linen inspired by the colours and textures of the surrounding landscape and hand-engraved signature cutlery. The mud-brick walls, sandstone floors and large open fireplace connect the building to the earth and make you feel safe and warm like in a warm cocoon.

The property is surrounded by bush and water, from quintessential golden beaches to private, pristine bays.

Pretty Beach House offers tailored exclusive-use options for intimate groups of 8. At our world-class lodge, even a small corporate event feels like a prized incentive thanks to the highly personalised service, the gastronomy experience, the luxurious bespoke interiors, the deep connection to the earth and the mesmerising natural surrounds of mother nature.

The property is one of the most private and luxurious properties available for exclusive-use book outs. Up to 8 guests (4 couples) may be indulged by our exceptional staff as they are wined and dined in the dining room, or guided on a hike as they head out for an indigenous cultural tour.

The lodge has only 4 luxurious pavilions, giving guaranteed privacy for any intimate gathering. The spectacular National Park, local surrounds and waterways offer plenty of outdoor and nature based activities, whilst on-site the world-class food and wine will delight all discerning guests.

The Main house is designed for relaxation and conviviality where all the senses and sensibilities are inspired from the iconic Australian artworks to the elegant table settings and stunning views. Guests are invited to help themselves from the fully stocked bar and relax before dinner while taking in the stunning coastal views.

HEAD CHEF / DEAN JONES / Dean gained Michelin experience at London’s River Café, and he injects the same pride and passion he believes that gave River Cafe its unique popularity – the pride in every ingredient and the passion to cook it with the same sense of brio and devotion the Italians display. “Passion and commitment took River Cafe to great heights, and I know it can be done here.”

Guests may choose to dine in the spectacular dining room, alfresco by the pool or maybe even on our boat.

An extensive range of premium wines; beers and spirits are on offer. Each beverage hand-picked by the house Sommelier to complement the daily menus. For those looking further afield, the Pretty Beach House wine cellar curated by proprietor Brian Barry is stocked with incredible rare old and new world wines.

Served daily from 8 am until 10.30 am, breakfast is casual with a touch of authentic chic as the tables are laid with taupe Busatti 100% linen table runners. Expect fresh juices and seasonal fruits, home-made yogurt, clotted cream, house-made pastries, sourdough bread, granola & eggs from our chickens. Relax with the paper over our signature eggs and finish with a delicious blended espresso coffee.

12.30 until 2.30 pm For lunch, the chef may suggest an antipasto, which includes salumi, pickled vegetables, eggplant caponata, and local crayfish with garlic mayonnaise. In summer there is chilled soup such as tomato with saffron, asparagus or fresh peas. Picnic hampers may contain a delicious array of Italian style Panini with house made breads, fresh fruit, cakes and tarts.

For winter, expect hearty seafood and barley stew, winter vegetable minestrone and veal shank with farro, all served with bread baked daily in the house kitchen. A much-loved treat at Pretty Beach House is Pizza al Fresco, as the chef stokes up the poolside wood fired pizza oven.

6.30 pm until 9 pm Dinner is a more formal affair in the dining room. Tables are laid with elegant Busatti table linens and our personalised PBH cutlery. Menus are designed each day with the season & freshest ingredients in mind.

Expect signature risotto served on the finest locally made ceramics, or authentic slow-cooked beef cheeks served on rustic pottery from the wheel of master potter Leno Alvarez from the NSW Gold mining town of Hillend.
